How quickly can you deliver a voiceover?

I know that sometimes a voiceover project needs to happen quickly — and I'm very used to working to tight deadlines!For many projects, I can offer a 24–48 hour turnaround, although this will depend on the length and requirements of the job. If you need your voiceover sooner, just let me know your deadline and I'll always do my best to accommodate you.If it's an urgent project, don't be afraid to ask. You never know - I might just have a gap in the diary!

How much does a voiceover cost?

Every voiceover project is different, so I don't have one fixed price that applies to everything.The cost can depend on the length of the script, the type of project, where the voiceover will be used, the size of the audience and how long you need to use the recording for.For example, a short internal corporate video will have very different requirements from a national TV or radio commercial.If you send me some details about your project, including the script if you have it, I'll be happy to provide a quote. And if you're not sure what information I need, don't worry — just get in touch and we'll work it out together.

Can I direct you during a live recording session?

Absolutely — and these are some of my favourite sessions to work on!I can join you remotely for a live-directed voiceover recording, using platforms such as Zoom, Cleanfeed, Source-Connect or Teams. This means you can listen as I record and give me direction in real time.Want it warmer? More energetic? A little more conversational? Slower? Let's try it!I really enjoy the creative back-and-forth of a live session, and it means we can explore different approaches and get the performance just right while we're together.It's also a great way to make sure everyone is happy with the delivery before the session ends.

What do you need from me to get started?

The most useful thing is to send me your final script, along with a few details about the project.Ideally, I'll need to know:What the voiceover is forWhere it will be usedHow long it will be used forYour required deadlineThe tone or style you're looking forAny specific pronunciation or performance notesIf you have a reference video, example or previous campaign that demonstrates the style you're after, that's always useful too.And don't worry if you aren't quite sure how to describe the voice you're looking for. That's something we can talk through together!

Accents are something I particularly enjoy.I've recorded a variety of accents over the years, and I've recently added dedicated accent voiceover reels to my website so clients can hear some of the different styles I can offer.If you're looking for a particular regional or international accent, it's always worth getting in touch. You may be looking for something subtle and authentic rather than an exaggerated character accent, and I'm happy to discuss exactly what you have in mind.I also offer a range of vocal styles, from natural and conversational through to warm, reassuring, energetic, authoritative, playful and more.

What audio format will I receive?

Your voiceover will be recorded and edited in my professional home recording studio, and I can supply your finished audio in the format you need, including WAV or MP3.If your production team has particular technical requirements, just let me know when you book and I'll make sure the files are supplied accordingly.If you're not sure what format you need, that's absolutely fine too. Just ask!My aim is to make the process as straightforward as possible, so you receive clean, professional audio that's ready to use.

How do I book you for my project?

It's very easy! Just get in touch via my contact page or email and tell me a little about your project.If you have your script ready, send that over too, along with your deadline and details of where the voiceover will be used. This helps me understand exactly what you're looking for and provide an accurate quote.Once we've agreed the details, I'll confirm everything with you and get your recording booked into the diary. I'll then record your voiceover from my professional home studio and send your finished audio over in the agreed format.If you'd like to join me for a live-directed session, we can arrange that too.And if you're not quite sure what you need yet, don't worry!
